Tom is dedicated to developing leaders to succeed and thrive in their God-given callings. With more than a decade of senior leadership experience in the nonprofit sector, he uniquely understands the challenges of working cross-culturally and serving on diverse teams. As personnel director at Interserve USA, he is positioned to mobilize and equip overseas workers to join God’s work around the world and bring lasting transformation to the neediest communities.
Prior to joining Interserve in 2023, Tom served as a coach and consultant for nonprofit leaders at The Center for Leading in Community. Previously, he led teams to implement and sustain multi-million-dollar programs in humanitarian relief, community development and disaster response in Haiti, The Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Mongolia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from Nyack College and a Master of Business Administration from Eastern University. He lives in Colorado with his wife, Emily, and their three daughters.
